#can we just talk #can we just talk about how i have no idea what’s going to happen to john when sherlock comes back #i’ve been trying to put myself into his shoes and think about how i react and just #god #it’d be like two sides of your heart are trying to strangle each other #because on the one side this person that you love with everything in you isn’t really gone #he’s there and he’s real and you didn’t have to say goodbye #it wasn’t the end #but this other part of you #this dark hurt shaking part is just so utterly broken #because how do you do that to someone you love #how do you walk away for three years #how do you let them think the worst #how do you watch them be broken and ripped apart #and get their fucking limp back god #i just #it hurts too much to think about

 #no I have a feeling I know what’s going to happen #John’s going to think he’s dreaming #and he’ll blink a few times like he’s trying to clear his head #and he’ll say ‘Sherlock’ so softly #and Sherlock will open his mouth to try to saying something anything at all but he can’t #so he just settles with this look that’s all eyes #eyes full of fear that John will never forgive him #and then this drawing will happen #and it will be very sweet #them just holding each other for a while#and Sherlock will say ‘John’ over and over #as John clings to him #assuring himself that this isn’t a dream #and then John will pull back #and give this look like he’s about to say something #and Sherlock will say ‘yes John?’ very breathy and with tears in his eyes that he tries to duck and hide #and then John will punch Sherlock across the fucking jaw #opening credits
